What is wudu?

Muslims are required to perform wudu in preparation for ritual prayers & for reading the Qur'an, or undertak Salat (which are obligatory prayers that occur five times a day), he/she should first perform a ritual washing process called 'wudu'. This involves washing a number of parts of the body including face, hands and feet in running water.
